The Coulotte is just an amazing cut of meat to grill. It's very tender, it has exceptional marbling and with its mild beefy flavor it just melts in your mouth. The Coulotte is also known as the popular Picanha cut which is a staple at any Brazilian steakhouse (or so we've been told). The Coulotte is very versatile and can be prepared on the grill or roasted in the oven and then sliced, which of course makes a nice show for all involved. They come 2 per package and they also make a great hanger steak substitute.
Fun Fact: Sometimes people call or email us to tell us that the coulotte is actually spelled culotte. So for all you Bakar loving orthographers, we've found that it's spelled Coulotte in English and Culotte for the French. Either way you spell it, it's a delicious cut of meet.
